Visitors are welcome at Harpenden Golf Club during the week and by arrangement at weekends and Bank Holidays and can look forward to a fair challenge on our mature and interesting course. After your golf enjoy a snack or meal in the bar or dining room of our friendly clubhouse. We are an equal opportunities club and both men and ladies are welcomed to enjoy our facilities.
Ongoing investment in the course has ensured that it is one of the best clubs in the county and in 2010 we were pleased to host the English Golf Union South East Group Seniors Championship, the Hertfordshire County Championship Qualifying Round and the Hertfordshire County Ladies De Paula Cup.
The Club is on the edge of Harpenden, a picturesque Hertfordshire town situated 5 miles north of the historic town of St Albans. With over 30,000 residents, ‘the Village’ as it is referred to locally, has good transport links, a wide choice of shopping, leisure and restaurant facilities and many green open spaces of which the Green Flag award winning Harpenden Common is the largest. Harpenden is also home to the world renowned Rothamsted Research Centre where scientific research focuses on sustainable land management and its environmental impact.
