An elevated tee shot to a fairway sloping towards you is exacerbated by a tendency for the ball to kick to the right into a fairway bunker. If your tee shot has not gone past this bunker you will find yourself playing to a blind flag from an uphill lie. The shot plays longer thank you think and must avoid the left hand greenside bunker which cuts in. Once on the green take careful note of the variety of slopes that may be between you and the hole on a green that generally from the front slopes from left to right.
